This concept grew out of a simple thought: what happens when a familiar object is lifted off the table and allowed to live on the wall instead?
The result is a pair of wall-mounted candle holders with a clean, cylindrical silhouette that keeps the focus on proportion, shadow and quiet presence.
The larger version is designed for a block candle, giving it a grounded, almost sculptural weight.
The smaller version plays more freely — one body, two diameters — holding either a slender taper candle or a tealight without breaking the overall expression.
Material is left open in this stage, but the concept leans toward metal for its strength, safety and honest tactility. Powder-coated steel, brushed aluminium or even brass could each give the form a different character while keeping the design straightforward.
What I like most here is the way these holders sit on the wall: modest, crisp, and letting the light create the atmosphere. A small shift in placement, and the candle becomes part of the room’s architecture rather than just something standing on a surface.
